New Director of Children’s Ministries: Amanda Welch

On Sunday, February 22nd, David Browder, the Rector of St. Thomas’, introduced Amanda Welch to the parish as our new Director of Children’s Ministries. The parish family warmly welcomed Amanda, her husband Stoney, their daughter, Brooke, and several of her family and shared their excitement at having Amanda working with our children in the parish.

Amanda has been the Director of our Early Childhood Learning Program and built it into the highly successful program it is today. She will continue to lead that program, while assuming more responsibilities as head of all parish children’s ministry.

Three New Eagle Scouts

Three young men from Boy Scout Troop 1226, sponsored by St. Thomas’, have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. They are Nicholas Flato (09/07/2014), Logan Jones (01/13/2015) and Hunter McKenzie (01/13/2015). All three are seniors at St. Thomas’ School, and Hunter serves as an acolyte at St. Thomas’ Church.
