Choristers
Saint Thomas’ Trebles is run by Saint Thomas’ Episcopal Church as an affiliate program of the Royal School of Church Music in America (RSCM-A). In the tradition developed over many centuries in the Anglican communion, young choristers are taught singing, sight-reading, theology, liturgy, professionalism, and teamwork.
They become leaders in worship and gain a confident musicianship.
Choristers sing alongside adults as equals, and also offer music by themselves. This group includes grades 3-6, with further choral opportunities within the church and school provided for older ages, such as the inclusion of a Choral Scholar program for high schoolers within the Parish Choir. The Trebles sing in services approximately twice a month, forming a regular part of the parish’s worship life.
