BIBLE STUDY FELLOWSHIP (BSF) MEETS MONDAYS AT 6:00 PM
BSF Men’s group offers straight talk and biblical truth built on the foundation of Jesus Christ. Exploring God’s Word together allows men to learn from one another, be challenged and encourage each other to live for something larger than themselves.
During the week, members spend time in personal study of the Scriptures with questions that prompt deeper thought. Once a week they meet in-person or online for small-group discussion around what they’ve read. They also have access to a teaching that applies the truths of Scripture to daily life along with comprehensive lesson notes on the passage they studied.

YOUNG LIVES MEET THURSDAYS AT 5:30 PM
YoungLives gather with parenting teenagers and mentors with the support of childcare workers. Members meet for fun, laughter, encouragement and an inspirational message. Other YoungLives activities may include Bible study, group outings and life skill instruction.
Rafiki Foundation
Since 1985, the vision of the Rafiki Foundation has been to cultivate a multitude of godly contributors in Africa through Bible study and classical Christian education.
To accomplish this, Rafiki established 10 Rafiki Training Villages within the African countries of Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Nigeria, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. Rafiki’s vision is carried out in each Village through five programs: Bible Study, Education, Teacher Training, Orphan Care, and Widows.
Missionaries, Michelle and David Graves have been serving at the Rafiki Village Uganda since July 2021. Michelle is the Dean of the Rafiki Institute of Classical Education (RICE) teachers college and is working on completing the accreditation process for the college. David serves as the Village Administrator.
Rafiki Wish List
We have received an Amazon wish list of books and DVD’s needed for the upcoming school year for Rafiki Schools in Uganda! As you know, our church members and former STES teachers, Michelle and David Graves, everyday share their love for Christ by being Christian Classical Educators in Uganda. As they are part of our ministry partners, we are proud to support their mission. We would like to gather as many items as we can by May 21st, after which a family member will be traveling to Africa and can deliver our gracious gifts. A box will be placed in the Narthex for collection. Thank you for your generous support of Rafiki and the work of David and Michelle.
There are several ways you can help:
- Purchase a book or DVD online by using the Amazon Wish List link Rafiki Book List
- If you have a copy of one of the items, in good condition, that you would like to donate, you may also bring it to church and place it in the basket in the Narthex.
- See Lyne Ezenwa after church by the coffee table in the Narthex, and she can help you with the list and other questions you may have.

The Davenant Institute
The Davenant Institute retrieves the riches of classical Protestantism to renew and build up the contemporary Church. Founded in 2013, Davenant grew out of a group of friends eager to see a renewal of scholarship and intellectual life in contemporary Protestantism at the institutional level. Tired of division between confessionalism and evangelicalism, we were eager to see fresh engagement with our theological heritage pursued in aid of the church.
