Houston Brass Band Concert

Join us on Sunday, February 5, at 3:00 pm, for this year’s Houston Brass Band concert at Saint Thomas’!  The brass band will be joined by the STE Pipe Band and our organists in an hour-long program encompassing everything from Elgar’s “Nimrod” to Disney’s “Frozen!”  Houston Brass Band is the preeminent British-style or “silver” brass band in this region, and their programs are always a favorite here of adults and children alike.

The Moseley Music Fund, which helps to finance our concert series, is established in memory of John Moseley, organist/choirmaster at Saint Thomas’ from 1958 to 1996. Much of the tradition and vision we enjoy in worship and music to this day is because of the foundation laid by Mr. Moseley. As we continue to build on that foundation, we affirm and thank God for the ministry of John Moseley.
