Pre-K Sunday School

Our class for children ages two to five (up through kindergarten) uses the Jesus Storybook Bible. Children go to class before church begins. Please see one of our ushers if you need directions or assistance.

As parents, each of us is charged with the responsibility of raising our children in a way that is pleasing to God.  We, the Sunday school teachers and assistants at St. Thomas’, are here to help you do just that.

For the little ones (two years through Kindergarten), we use a program called The Jesus Storybook Bible.  This program covers a wide range of stories all geared toward introducing your child to the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.  All of the stories have one theme; Old or New Testament, each one points to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Each story is rich in color, easy to understand, and challenging in its message.  Class time involves a mix of the story, appropriate discussion, and plenty of loving play time and activities which underscore the lesson material and help make your child’s time in class fun as well as educational.

About The Jesus Storybook Bible

Written for children, The Jesus Storybook Bible tells the one story underneath all stories of the Bible and points to the birth of a child, the Rescuer, Jesus. With 44 Bible stories, The Jesus Storybook Bible paints a beautiful portrait of Jesus and invites children to see that he is not only at the center of God’s great story of redemption—he is at the center of their story too!
