It is a tradition here at St. Thomas’ during Lent for children to collect coins in a “mite box” as a special love offering for Jesus. Mite boxes will be distributed in Sunday school and can also be picked up in the church Narthex.
St. Thomas’ Church will offer three services on Ash Wednesday:
8:00 a.m. – a spoken service of Litany, a Penitential Office, Imposition of
Ashes, and Holy Communion; 9:45 a.m. (Chapel service) – a spoken
service of Litany, a Penitential Office, and Imposition of Ashes; 12:00
p.m. – a sung service of Litany, a Penitential Office, Imposition of Ashes
Evensong with the Parish Choir begins at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Pancake Supper in the Murray Center. We will serve pancakes, bacon, sausage, coffee, and more. Suggested donation is $5 per person – children 4 years and under are free.
