A unique hobby, a minor physical challenge, a glorious noise—you will find it a great way to meet interesting people and stimulate your mind and body, all while serving the church and reminding the neighborhood of our presence. Learning “the Exercise” is within the grasp of almost anyone willing to spend some time learning to handle a bell and then working with others to ring them in patterns dictated by one of the thousands of change ringing methods — the tunes of this form of music. We have weekly practices alternating between our tower and the one at St. Paul’s Methodist Church. With weekly practice, you can expect to be handling a bell on your own within a couple of months -— and then you’ll start to learn how to ring the bells in changes. When we have trained enough ringers to ring safely, we will resume regular Sunday ringing before the 10:30 service.
