Welcome Our New Family Minister!

Angel Gonzalez

After an extensive nation wide search, interviews with a number of promising candidates, and a wonderful on-site visit, the Family Minister Search Committee recommended that our Rector, David Browder, call Angel Gonzalez to serve as our Family Minister to lead the church’s outreach to children, youth, and family together with our dedicated volunteers. David agreed, offered Angel the position, and we are happy to announce that Angel has accepted the call!

Angel is a graduate of Texas A&M University, and grew up in the Richmond-Rosenberg area, where his family lives. He has experience working in youth ministry in a number of churches.

Angel says, “Howdy! My greatest desire is to glorify God in all I do.

“I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2018. In my free time I love to spend time with friends, play basketball, workout and recently have been practicing videography and photography.

“I look forward to working with the children and youth of the church and helping them take their first steps or next steps with Jesus.”

The Search Committee and Mr. Browder thank Ministry Architect’s search consultants, led by Martha Whitesides, for their help and guidance in the search process.

Angel will join us on December 1.
