Amy SavageDirector of Early Childhood Learning Programs
Amy Savage is a graduate of Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX. She holds a Texas Education Certificate for EC 4.
She is a native Houstonian and cradle Episcopalian. She has 15 years teaching experience in early childhood in both the public and private sector. She believes in an early childhood education with a spiritual base by teaching the whole child, cognitively, socially, and physically.
Amy comes to St. Thomas Episcopal Church from St. Paul’s School where she taught in 2’s, 3’s and Kindergarten. She also taught both First Grade and Kindergarten at Poe Elementary.
Prior to her call to be a teacher, Amy was an Office Manager for an environmental company as well as the Assistant Registrar at South Texas College of Law.
She is merging her experience in both education and business as the Director of St. Thomas Episcopal Church Early Childhood Learning Program. It is her goal to maintain a program that builds a community between the families of St. Thomas Episcopal School and Church.
