10:00 AM: Traditional Worship Service – In the church
A traditional Anglican Church service of Holy Communion. Our Parish Choir leads the music, and our Kids Ministry meets simultaneously in the children’s worship space. Nursery is also available for children under 3.
1st, 3rd, 4th Sunday – Service of Holy Communion
2nd, 5th Sunday – Service of Morning Prayer.
-Nursery available for ages 0-4 during the 10:00 AM service
5:00 PM: ECHO: Acoustic Worship Service – In the courtyard
The ECHO service combines acoustic hymns with a modernized version of the traditional Anglican liturgy and includes scripture, sermon, prayers, singing, and the celebration of Holy Communion. Families, adults, and students are invited to participate in this more-relaxed family-friendly service. The service is held in the courtyard, weather permitting, or in the Fellowship building.

The Book of Common Prayer
At Saint Thomas’, our services follow the Book of Common Prayer. We offer a printed Order of Worship for our services. The Order of Worship contains the prayers, psalms, and hymns, as well as instructions for those unfamiliar with an Episcopalian service.
We use the 1928 Book of Common Prayer which is an Americanized version of Thomas Cranmer's 1549 prayer book which was composed during the English Reformation.
Morning Prayer
Morning Prayer in the various editions of the Book of Common Prayer and other Anglican liturgical texts, was, until the last quarter of the twentieth century, the main worship service without communion. Holy Communion was the main worship service once or twice per month, or rarely, quarterly.
Like Evensong, and in contrast to Holy Communion, Morning or Evening Prayer can be led by a layperson, and is recited daily in private by devout Anglicans.
Holy Communion
Holy Communion, also known as the Eucharist, is the rite that Christians perform in fulfillment of the instruction, reported in 1 Corinthians 11:25-25, that Jesus gave to do in his memory. It is a sacramental or memorial reenactment of what He did at the Last Supper. In giving his disciples bread, He said “This is my body,” and in giving the cup, He said “This is my blood.”
Evensong
The service of Evensong is a short service of choral music, chant, and prayer, sung by the choir. Since the service is sung by the choir on behalf of those present, participation can be as much as you want: either follow along with the Order of Worship or simply enjoy the music and atmosphere.
